Carolina Pro-Life Action Network
(C-PLAN)
Carolina Pro-Life Action Network (C-PLAN) is a network of Catholic pro-life volunteers, workers and ministry leaders collaborating to engage, inform, and educate parishes and our local society on topics related to the sanctity of life.
Comprised of parish Respect Life coordinators, Knights of Columbus pro-life directors, and other local pro-life ministries, C-PLAN’s goal is to help organize, and coordinate regional Catholic pro-life activities throughout western North Carolina to help mobilize Catholics in efforts to protect the unborn and their mothers.
C-PLAN focuses on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death, through education, public witness, public policy, and prayer, generally following the four-fold goal of the U.S. Bishops’ Pastoral Plan for Pro-life Activities, which include calling upon the resources of the Church – its people, services, and institutions in four major areas:
- Public Information and Education
- Pastoral Care for Women
- Public Policy
- Prayer and Worship
